ShapeShifter Art School is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible learning environment for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
This two-story building features two classrooms located on the ground floor, which are fully accessible in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. One classroom is located on the second floor and is accessible via stairs only. Currently, there is no elevator available in this building.
We understand that the lack of elevator access to the second-floor classroom may present a challenge for individuals with mobility impairments. To ensure equal access to educational opportunities, we are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for any individual who is unable to climb stairs.
Accommodations may include, but are not limited to:
- Relocating the class to an accessible ground-floor classroom.
- Providing alternative methods of participation or engagement for individuals who cannot physically be present in the second-floor classroom.
- Offering remote access options, where feasible.
