Studio in Your Pocket: Branding & Content for Artists
Zack Orsborn
You already make the work. This workshop is about getting it seen.
In three hours, you'll build a content system you can keep up with: one that sounds like you, fits your medium, and runs on the phone already in your pocket. No fancy gear, no marketing-speak, no pretending to be someone you're not online.
We'll cover:
Your brand: Use a simple Passion List to generate endless content ideas, so you never stare at a blank screen wondering what to post again.
Pro-looking video on just your phone: Lighting, framing, and shooting techniques that make your work look gallery-ready.
The right content for your medium: What works for painters vs. ceramicists vs. illustrators vs. fiber artists, so you're not forcing your work into formats that don't fit.
Instagram that works: Current best practices for reach, captions, and posting without burning out.
Fast edits with the Edits app: Turn raw clips into polished, postable video in minutes.
Collaboration strategy: How to partner with other artists and local businesses on Instagram to grow your audience and open real doors.
You'll leave with a repeatable content engine, a phone full of techniques, and a plan for showing up online that feels less like a chore and more like part of your practice.
